How the guide tools work and where our imagery comes from.
Reading and using the tools
The guide search filters the public guide list in your browser. The checklist does not request documents, names, passport details or case numbers. Its selections are temporary and are not submitted to us or saved by the checklist after you leave the page.
Copy-link uses your browser’s clipboard permission when you click it. Printing is handled by your device. A social-sharing link opens the relevant third-party service, whose own privacy terms apply.
Hosting and external services
Like other websites, delivery of a page involves sending technical request information, including an IP address, to the hosting and delivery services. The site uses XWM hosting, a content delivery network and Google Fonts. External source links lead to separately operated websites.
This page describes the tools in this release. It does not claim that no technical logs exist or promise a retention period we have not verified. Do not enter private immigration information into a public search field or social-sharing message.
Photo and design credits
The Statue of Liberty photograph is by the U.S. National Park Service and is identified as public domain in the United States on its Wikimedia Commons file page. We resized it for delivery and use a cropped, color-adjusted presentation in the homepage layout. It does not imply National Park Service endorsement.
The photograph is hosted on the XWM CDN. The column mark is a simple original vector drawing. No AI-generated photography is used in this release.
